Insulation under carpet & underlay?
The carpet will be tucked into the gap where it meets skirting board forming a thick layer around room so the carpet and underlay is more than enough as the underlay needs stapled down
How to join ascending dado on the internal corners?
Cut one at 90 degreese then one at 45 then scribe the 45 to the profile of the 90
