Cut partition wall, wall panels, paint rooms

I have a partition wall in the living room that separates the little kitchen. I would like a large window cut out in that wall or an option of remiving the entire wall, which I have seen done in neighbours' flats. I would like to install some wooden decorative panelling on 1 or more sections of the walls. Painting of living room, bedroom and corridors.
