Secure two items to a wall

Hi there,

I have a wall where I don't feel confident attaching two items:
- a heavy-ish chalkboard
- a fake wooden fireplace

I want to know if it's a safe wall to attach these items and make sure that I'm not hitting any wires. So I'm reaching out for help.
